One ball mod with custom exhaust tips

Wanting to do the one ball mod I figured I'd also get rid of the pea shooter exhaust tips from the factory. Did some 4 inch magnaflows, much involved with cutting and welding but the finished result is great.

I've been wanting to do the one ball mod for awhile now. I just haven't been able to find many details. I heard you can "cut and flip" the piece of muffler or need extra piping. So many people saying one thing. So many saying another.

Also is there anyway to DIY at home without a welder?

In the end do you remove the resonator completely?

Sorry for the thread jack bro, but you did a good job there!

You're good man. I'd say you could clamp it.

We cut the pipe and had a 90 degree piece already on hand so it slid right up without any issues. The one ball was easy to be honest. Fitting the big tips took all the time.

Love the tips-you have a part#? Is that tight there or too close to burn the bumper?

I trimmed a small amount of the black trim inside the exhaust opening. Not a lot but just a small amount.

So did you just bypass the resonator, or completely remove it from the car?

That's what I figured, but without 2 exhaust hangars, how do the muffler's stay stationary and centered?

Yes I removed the resonator. It still retains both hangers once removed you can drop them with the straps.

Do these tips add more or deeper sound? I just one-balled, but that's all I did. It only got a little louder and a bit more burble and pop. Sounds good, but thought it would be a bit more.

I can't give you a definite answer as I've never heard one in person besides my own. It definitely has some popping noise, I'd tend to think bigger tips would alter the noise a bit.
