I really liked the 135, but it was in the shop more than on the road for stupid stuff. We'll see how the mini holds up... I wasn't a fan of the interior of the 135. This mini gives me the fizz more than the others did. It's just angry!
WOW!..what a Beauty .....Practically brand new with only 10,000 miles ...Like the fact it has an extended warranty on it ....$17,000 is a little high but definitely worth it ...really like the interior with all those upgrades ......Best Of luck ..your going to have fun .....
Awesome, thats a rare combo on a JCW , those are the English leather seats and chrono package , figured it would be in winter haven. MINI seven piano black dash and anthracite. Very clean MINI.
Its was the MINI seven options. We did not have the MINI seven here, so you could cherry pick options. Then with that most people had the anthracite headliner and anthracite interior trim added.
No not specific to factory JCWs at the time. Just a higher priced option. More inof on the Seven.
The seats came from the MINI park Lane, which was also a special option they cherry picked , so for those two models you could not get them fully in the USA , so they just had some features as side options.
Then they offered them in MINI convertible sidewalk in black or malt brown.
The seats had a difference stitch pattern due to the 1/2005 regulation in the USA for the passenger seat pressure sensor pad. That now all Gen 1 MINI had a recall on for 1/2005 +
The guy I bought it from paid over 40k for the car when new. I love how cars depreciate, I can buy the best examples of cars 10 years ago. I am actually a big fan of the analog feel, things like GPS don't do it for me. Also I found my aux jack so all I did was plug in my Bluetooth receiver and it's good. It's funny how the car is set up for hands free calling but you have to buy it... This mini has a great sound system.
I have a leased Camry I use for work and that is up in January. I drive 70 miles round trip for work so this is going to fill my need for a fun car to drive and good gas mileage. I'm just happy it has a warranty, up to 2021 100k miles.
All the other cars I had never had an lsd and it was one of those things I always wanted to add.
Just washed and waxed. Will post pictures with the tint!

Someone babied this car all of its life only for you to daily drive it and care for "gas milage".
You sure paid for it and hope you enjoy it.
At least get a clear bra to protect the paint for your daily commute.

You make it sound like that's a bad thing. Just because someone babied a car it's whole life doesn't mean the next owner has a responsibility to baby it too. Cars are meant to be driven, especially these MINIs. Would be a waste for it to be babied into the grave.
Agreed. I paid a premium for this car and I intend to drive it to the fullest. I could have bought a $13k prius but for a few extra bucks why not drive the best example of a mini cooper from 2006.
I've always driven my cars hard, but they always get fully serviced. Don't take driving hard for abuse. It'll never feel a pot hole or a hard launch. Just foot to the floor!

I meant in a good way.
Yes, cars are meant to be driven but those survivors with low miles will always be the attractive ones if anyone is into that kind of thing.
This is a great car and I secretly wish that it would of just been continued to be a weekend fun car. That's it.
OP scored a great car and sounds like he will truly enjoy it.
Trust me, I have always bought low mileage examples of cars and before I always cringed at putting any miles on the car. With my AMG I never drove it because I was afraid I would cross 50,000 miles. Things like starting the car to move if a few feet bothers me too. My feeling is that I will put 10,000 miles on it and sell it and move to something different but who knows. In the past 3 years I've gone through 8 cars... We'll see how sensitive I am to mileage. I thought about driving it to the office today but blamed the cloudy weather as an excuse to take the Camry.

We sound very much alike..... Speaking of AMGs, this guy was part of the fleet for a while
There is something about wagons I love. And the fact it's faster than a rocket! The noise those cars make are awesome. Looked at a C63 before the mini, fast was an understatement but it felt too much of a production car. Those early AMG's were special.
Did someone say AMG ? Makes me miss my old CL65. I like the twin turbo 3.0's too.
LOVE LOVE the CL65s.
I was also one of the very 1st people to take delivery of a E92 335 in WA State. I actually liked that car much more than the E92 M3 that I ordered later!
