Need some help with strange electrical issues

So these problems just started on Friday, I'm assuming it has something to do with the leak I have on my passenger side (which I need to find the source). It's leaking into both my headliner right above the pillar, and also down the side of my dash onto the floor.

But anyways, the electrical issues. It's nothing super serious, but what's not working are the dash indicators for the blinkers, but the signals are still actually working, I'm getting the seatbelt light even though I'm wearing it and no one is in the passenger seat. My dash lights stopped coming on last night, and the auto headlights and rain sensor are also not working. And also my nav/computer was freaking out for a little bit, but now it just gives me the Mini symbol. I was having an issue with the brake lights and dash lights staying on, but that stopped, which is good, since I've already had to get a jump leaving work the other night.

Basically what I'm asking is where should I be looking to start fixing these problems, I've already checked the fuses in the box in the footwell, and only kind of looked at the box in the engine bay, but I'm not really sure where else to look.

Thanks
Nick

For the leak, check your sunroof drains (assuming you have one) as they can get clogged and cause water to leak into your passenger side. Check the condition of the seals on the sunroof as well and make sure the sunroof drain tube is not disconnected behind the headliner on the passenger side. You'll also want to check your windshield and make sure the seal on there is in good condition. Is there any water leaking onto/into your rear view mirror? When you looked at the fuses and the footwell was there any moisture in there? What condition is your battery in?

Hopefully it's not the body control module but do a search for it. Try bcm too.

So, it looks like it just needed a couple days to dry out (today is the first day it's been not cloudy and relatively warm) and everything seems to be back to normal. When I checked the footwell fuse box it was dry in there and the battery looked dry and in good shape too. I'm assuming the best way to check out the sunroof drain is to drop the headliner? HOpefully I'll be able to find some spare time soon to fix that leak, it's been leaking for a little while but it keeps getting worse and definitely needs to be fixed asap since it's messing up my electronics, and most importantly makes it smell like wet dog in there every time it rains haha

Yes, you'll need to drop the front of the headliner just a little to see the drain tubes. Look at post #9 HERE to see what the fronts look like. The whole thread has a lot of great information and detailed images. His ended up being the seals on the sunroof. If the drain tubes seem to be connected and nothing is out of the ordinary then I'd suggest you sit in the passenger seat and have someone spray the exterior of the car with a pressure washer. Have them aim it at the windshield, door seal, and sunroof to see if you can spot any sign of where the water could be leaking in from.

Yeah....fix the leak...
You can get into MULTI THOUSAND dollar fixes from leaking sunroof drains if they leak and are ignored....
either side can cause problems....passangerside issues tend to be the BCM and airbags (less of an issue they tend to dry out) the driver side is corrosion to the entire fusebox.... The metal oxides and turns green...and stops reliability conducting electricity.... Tottals out an older car.
Fix it ASAP...hopefully the airbags in the pillars survive and you can dry the interior out so it dies not turn into a moldy mess...
Good luck
