A-Pillar Speaker Replacement

Going to dig into replacing a few speakers in my '08.

First off, the left side speaker (tweeter?) in the A-pillar trim is blown for sure. Looking to finding a replacement pair for both sides. Dealer wants about $60/each, from Germany. That could take a while, also seems a bit steep for something thats probably not 'the best'.

Anyone replaced these speakers with something not OE? If so, any feedback or installation or other problems?

Ill be finding a solution regardless, so Ill be posting up what I find. Im pretty happy with the factory stereo in the car, its got a very nice flat response, and those little A-pillar speakers have a profound impact on the crispy highs in a lot of my favorite music. Unfortunately some of the music i listen to can be hard on the little guys!
