OEM Bluetooth quality

I retrofitted the OEM bluetooth (ULF+orig mic).
Everyone I talk to says they can't hear me (especially with the air conditioner on).
The mic is installed on the drivers side but it seems it doesn't have noise cancelling or a bad one.

Will Parrot 9200 or a Mobrige m2.pro give a better result, or should I return to an External Alpine player?

Concentrate on the mic first. Move it to a different location, or try a different mic.

The MINI (BMW) mic is a little bulky and hard to place on other locations (i.e on the front of the plate for example).
A parrot mic - can it be fitted instead of the OEM? as they don't have the same connection (& the OEM does have a printed circuit on it).

I guess it's a common problem. There might be a solution somewhere in the forum.
