Window roll down depths?

I've had my Mini 2006 S since new. I didn't drive it much during the last two years. Recently, I noticed the driver and passenger windows do not roll down into the doors to the same depth. Here are two photos showing the two windows. Window operation is smooth and without strain or grinding. Are my windows normal? How far your windows roll down? Thank you in advance.

my 02 does funky stuff like this except they stick further out. Window regulators have been changed twice on driver side, once on passenger.

The depth isn't the same on both sides of my 2002 MCS either.

Both Drivers and Passengers on my 02 look like your drivers.

I'll snap a photo later but I believe neither of mine go down completely, I've also wondered why that is.

Both windows went down all the way on my R52.

There is a procedure for adjusting window position.

Since I don't see rkw's fix posted in this thread, can you share the window adjustment procedure for the benefit of others who may have this issue in the future?

May need to just re-adjust them, as stated. We also go over pretension adjustment and position adjustment in our tech article HERE.

Funny...

Using the "NAMotoring" iPhone app, your attachment (PDF) does not show up, despite my having the option to show attachments set to "on." The OP's two photo attachments (JPEGs) do show up in the first post.

I wonder if it has to do with yours being a PDF?

On my computer, your procedure attachment is there to be viewed.
