2nd valve cover gasket under 75k?

I'm looking at a used 05 with 75k on it. It's a nicely equipt mcs and seems decent overall for low 7s. Should I be leary? I'm getting it from a broker but he says the owner is adult 55plus. New clutch also around 60k miles. Thoughts?

Whats the head gasket comment? Are you saying this car has had the head gasket changed twice?

I meant valve cover gasket. Big difference lol. Wouldn't let me modify title and after I looked at some of the sellers notes of service I stand corrected. VC gasket.

Maybe the first time the VC gasket was changed some bolts were over tighten and the valve cover cracked ? Maybe that why it need to be ''replaced'' again ?

Ha. thx for the clarification

Several head gasket changes: I'd be concerned. Valve cover gasket changes: nothing to worry about. I guess some of them start to weep at some time; mine hasn't. My '05 has 114k on it now; never had VC or head removed. I am going to do the cam soon, so the gaskets will all be changed at that time.

Usually the bolts are not tighten because they are corroded on the head of the bolt.

The gasket is not too bad, its those old rusted bolts that can be a pain if the heads are rusted.
