This is an awesome build

I love the detail and the Mini stencil is just putting it over the top!

Color change?

Catch Me- I am wondering if you changed the original color at all or just over layered the original paint with the same color to clean up chips, scuffs, etc. I am thinking of doing something similar on my Indi Blue 2003 MCS and am wondering if it is worth the time and expense. I'd be interested in some more detail on what you did exactly color-wise and if you think it is worth it now that you have done it - is it a pretty dramatic improvement on the paint? The pics certainly look great but it is hard to tell given that it also looked pretty good before in the pics.

Appreciate any thoughts you have on this topic.

Thanks ECS.... Yeah it is awesome to drive it turned out exactly what I wanted to the T. The only thing I'd add at this point is a H-comp rear sway bar to finish off the handling mods.

What an amazing finish!
I bet your having a blast
Job amazingly well done !
Cheers

Also I'm interested in your LC1 setup.
I've run Innovate products and plan to in my current build.
Are you using the MXT-L in conjunction or standalone for information and tuning purposes?
Also how can I get my hands on one of those brackets?

It is actually a OT-2 Innovative OBDII sensor that logs and I can use the dash command app on my iPhone to log data and use it as some extra gauges.

I am planning on a hood stripe the shape of the original checkmate one that is a fade from solid to checkers, and on the rear quarter behind the door get a checkmate decal made in a cursive writing like the John Cooper decal. It should turn out cool.
