Nice shots

I like the chrome above the license plate in back. I don't understand why the S doesn't come that way in the first place.

Once I get my MCS (10 days???), I'm considering removing the Cooper S badge and adding the chrome, so the boot will have just the Mini badge and the chrome strip. Might be too plain on PW?

cool photos, but when you crop images you might want to adjust the dpi as well ... the pics are fuzzy and do not seem to be taken with a 5 mpx camera, but more like a 2 mpx

don't mean any lecturing, just trying to help you out so you get the most out of your camera.

Wow RetroHasen, we have very similar taste! I've added the chrome grill, driving lights and chrome boot trim to my S too. I don't have the bonnet stripes and have white slites so I guess there is still room for a little individuality. Our dog is also a beautiful black lab though. Maybe we were separated at birth.

Well, great pics. Were they taken at the Presidio? Looks like one of my old San Francisco haunts.

Cheers,

How hard was the removal of the stock boot handle? And do you want to get rid of your old one?

It literally took 5 minutes to get it off. I have to keep my old one. I can never get rid of car parts. It was $65 at the dealer.

Yep, it is the Presidio.

Black labs seem to be the dog of choice for Mini owners. I never knew

hey retro, nice pics.

one more thing you should do is put in chrome turning signal bulbs in your front bumper. it rids you of the amber and leaves a cleaner even look to the lights although they still flash amber.

i did it a year ago to my car, came out nicely:

Yeah, I want to do that. I had them on my Jetta. Just need to find someplace to get them.

Nice car, BTW

It is a Mini product. The part # is:

82 11 0 147 394 for black

82 11 0 147 395 for beige

82 11 0 147 393 for grey

$75 and the dealer had it in stock

Black labs are beautiful dogs, but some MCS owners prefer Yellow labs

I have a hook up at the dealer, so that is where I bought them. Retail on the grill is $73 for the top, $25 for the bottom and the rear piece was $65. Not bad for all that bling
