any reason to get that one instead of the OEM one? I will also be replacing it with the Alta tensioner stop...... not sure if that a good idea yet.

luk is good too, I would stay away from the adjustable. Get the OEM style, it changes tension constantly, replace it and forget about it.

I have it and mine rattles at low rpm, I'd get the wmw stop. The only advantage to the alta is it can be installed without removing the tensioner assembly.

+1
LUK is one of the clutch/dual mass flywheel suppliers....
Most every item on the car has 2 different suppliers....
But one tip...
Many OEM makers have 2 lines of parts....
An cheap Chinese made one...some of the "gates" water pumps that pop up cheap, than leak are these, and the real OEM parts....
The tensioner from gates has been widely used and is good...
The Alta fixed tensioner WILL COST YOU HP....no one belt pressure is good for all rpms and loads..... Period.
And a few picture are around of failures of the fixed tensioner...vibration and pressure overtime can snap them....do not consider it a permant, one time fix...
Just like a heavy duty truck with the same style of tensioner, expect to readjust the tension every few thousand miles....least it squeel or snap the belt...

A tensioner stop IMO is a good idea...
Some rattle....
Some do wear and fail from age (strap style)...none are perfect...but spending 20-30$ to maybe save $500+ IMO is s good risk.

Be careful I've had customers buy the cheaper versions of these parts only to have to replace them again. So if they don't warranty it, you end up spending what the OE would have cost.

As for the Alta tensioner stop don't bother as it doesn't allow the tensioner to adjust belt tension with load change so the belt is going to be either to tight or too loose depending on the load you have on the car.

We make our own delrin bushings to replace the stock rubber bushings on the tensioner shock as that is what actually fails on the tensioner.
