not-so-bright colors

dear mini,

please add some subtle colors to the lineup. why did you get rid of velvet red and that nice pale green? i'm sure the purple and blue are nice, but please add something less saturated to the mix for 06 (rhyme was accidental).

thanks.

What about BRG or Dark Silver? Those are my favorites for "less bright" colors. Silver is actually too reserved IMO.

What about black? That's not a dark color?

Silk Green and Velvet Red went away because they weren't big sellers. I'm assuming that Solid Gold will be going away soon as well...

The Cool Blue, Black-eyed Purple, and Hot Orange are subtle colors, IMHO. The Hyper Blue looks less 'hyper' than Electric Blue from the pics I've seen. There is also a very dark blue in the works that looks almost black...

How about some bright colors, MINI?

i think brg is still a bit too rich... black, the silvers, and white are completely colorless (well, pw does have some color in it, i came really close to deciding on pw).... imagine a 50/50 mix of silver and brg. that would look nice. out of all the colors, my top choice right now is cool blue. too bad it's only on the cabrio.

for the record, just ordered a black/black mcs. i just wish i could have had velvet red.

Velvet Red was a sweet color. I wanted it so bad, but it wasn't available on the MCS. So I took my second choice BRG - still happy - it shines up real nice.

the Liquid Yellow is about as unsaturated as it gets

Specifically, what colors would you like to see, and/or, what color did you end up picking?

MINI,

When enough people get together and pick a color, any color, paint a batch of cars the color they want. Say, get 25 people that pick "two shades lighter than lime purple" and are willing to pay $$ extra paint there MCS or MINI the custom color they want.
