Getting those white wheels their whitest!

I found the best way to clean the white wheels!
I didn’t want to use any spray on wheel cleaner stuff as I think over time it will take it’s toll on the painted finish. I found just using a wool mitt with the water running during the entire cleaning process makes short work of the brake dust. Get one of these thick Mitt thingies and just poke it around in between the spokes while keeping water running on the area and the brake dust just goes away...

With all the brake dust from the OE pads, I use a boar's hair brush and
car shampoo to do my wheels... or just use a papertowel and detailer
spray when the wheels are cold. You think the papertowel will scratch
them, but they really dont if it's moist and gently applied over powder
coat.

I just hate spending extra time washing the mit/towel afterwards on
top of rinsing the chamois and dry towels.

I found a really cheap tire cleaner at my local "Big Lots." I have the same tires as crusizchris just not the white, but it works very very well, It was a total of .99 cents! I just a spray with a very mild checmical effect. I use an old shirt, such as my old under shirts and have gotten old and nasty, and use it on my tires. For the white, I'm sure it works great with just the water and the mit, but for anybody else, it works great!- Good luck!

One other suggestion: keep a nice coat of wax on 'em - that makes the brake dust rinse off much easier.
