Ooooooh! I want one, too! Where did you find it? July 4th is my mother's birthday!

If you come to the Billings Meet-n-Greet this Sunday, you can get one for free. I'm giving them away.

Otherwise, you can do what I did. Call Florence at Western Flag & Banner in Billings, Montana. That flag is roughly 11"x17" or 12"x18".

Florence sewed a capped sleeve to the flag. It fits snugly to the stock antenna. Just slide it down from the top and pop the top of the antenna into the top of the sleeve.

I've driven up to 35 mph with no flag slippage so far.

Just ask Florence (406-652-1585) if she'll make and ship you the exact same flag that the "car antenna sleeve guy" just picked up this morning. The same guy who just ordered ten more. She should know what flag you want.

I must admit, I was driving around with a stupid grin on my face. That flag is fun!

Well, if it weren't Mother's birthday, you know I'd leave right this minute to make it to the Billings event, tee hee! I'll check around here in SoCal to see if I can find a similar product. Thanks so much for the info! It really looks cool on your MINI!

For $3 plus shipping, I'd just get it from Florence.

But since I rarely drive at 35 mph.....LOL!!! You're probably right, Dan. I'll think about giving Florence a call. Thanks!

I'll take it up to 100 mph and let you know if it stays on.

Flag slippage at about 45 mph

At about 45 mph, you'll see some flag slippage. Not enough for it to fly off, but I was always prudent and removed the flag before getting on the highway.
