i've looked, but haven't found any photos... i'm not even sure if it's a january thing...

please help, i was thinking of astro/astro, but i might end up ordering brg/brg instead, and i hear those are slow.

Mine is an 04 MCS black with white top and wheels. I'll see if I can post or send you a pic or two. Let me say this; Here in the desert a black car is a PITA because it is so dusty. THe car looks great right after a wash but requires daily attention to keep it looking sharp. Having said that I love the thing and drive it whenever I can (I have four other cars)............................mgg

i found a photo of astro black here
of course, it's totally impossible to judge from a photo.

honestly, i think my dream color is the light blue only availible on the mcs convertible.

paint colors

What about picking a color, ANY COLOR, except MC or MCS colors (you only need to be a shade off), get 20 or so people that want it, contact Mini USA and tell them the color you all want and each pay $100.00 (or whatever) extra to get your's painted a custom color?

I think they would do it if enough people wanted "lime green with a dash of orange in it" or whatever color you want. Contact them and ask how much extra and how many vehilcels would have to be painted that color to work for them and then you will know if it would work for you.

paint it.....

I've seen photos of the Astro black, and it looks pretty black. Not very black, but more black than say, kinda black. I'm always looking for more pictures so I can nail it down.

Yes, I'd go with AB/AB in a heartbeat. Both AB and BRG are dark and probably equally dicey to keep pristine, but since BRGs are so notoriously slow.......

If you think AB is for you, I'd just get it.....it'll be fabulous. We do tend to debate (and rightly so) over new colors endlessly.....the pros......the cons.(remember the Solid Gold debate?) In the end, all the colors tend to be stunners in person regardless of what we think of them in our theoretical discussions.

AB/AB would be awesome, imo!
