I removed my warning stickers with denatured alcohol from home depot while the visors were still in the car.
You will get the best results if you use a white cotton towel instead of cotton ***** or paper towels. Some have suggested allowing a towel saturated with the denatured alcohol to sit on the visors for a minute or two before attempting to wipe them off - this seems to work pretty well. Be sure to clean the visors after the sticker is removed using a mild soap and water mixture and another cotton towel, to avoid discoloration.

Yesterday, on the way home from work, I stopped and got denatured alcohol from Home Depot. Drank two beers trying to get the nerve up to remove the visor stickers and then decided I better wait until I was stone sober. Got the nerve up to remove them tonight and followed COOP310's advice on the cotton towel. After letting the soaked towel sit on the stickers about 1.5 minutes (impatience got the better of me) I was able to remove the stickers by just wiping with pressure. There is some 'ghosting' where the stickers were and I'll probably go buy some Goof Off tomorrow to try to take care of that.

Very easy mod and I would do it again.

Thanks for all the posted info!

Hey guys I just removed the stickers from my visors! Another thing you can do is use a heat gun! It works wonders and the sticker will peel right off when heated! After that, just use some solvent to remove the glue and you all set!

I think the visor decals look great but was a bit shocked when I found out the cost for 2 small stickers so I think when I have some time to kill I will be trying the denatured alcohol/removal route

Actually I never though to do this... I'll have to go have a look at these stickers...

Well, instead of removing mine, I also covered it up. Here are my made at home visor stickers. I am sure they will fade within a week or two. It is my trial run before getting a more professional (and permanent) set made.

I assume a hair dryer will work? Maybe run it for 20 minutes until it slips off like ice?

Annette.....that's exactly how I too got rid of the visor warning stickers. It's a very clever and decorative solution. Recently, I also ordered a mixed pair of topper decals (Union Jack & Stars 'n Stripes) for my new '06 MCS.

These decals are from Mini Pirate. They're a British outfit so shipping is expensive and orders take a bit of time to get across the pond.....but they have some neat ideas.

I tried Goof-off with no success... but I'm impatient so I may not have waited long enough... I'm going to try either Goof-off again or denatured alchol and see what happens.

Denatured alcohol works fine if you let it set long enough - several minutes. The Goof-off (Goop-off really) is only to clean up the gummy residue, which should be almost non existent if the alcohol is left alone. Be patient.

I just did it! Thanks for all the info. I used regular rubbing alcohol, 70% and soaked a paper towel and layed it directly on the sticker, I have a convertible so I flipped the visors and with the top down was able to work from the top, not having to remove the visors...anyhow, after about 2 - 3 minutes, I was able to use start from the corner of the "sticker" and roll it off. If there were left over pieces, I used the soaked paper towel to rub it off. Afterwards, there was a bit of adhesive mark/residue so I rubbed it once over with the alcohol soaked paper towel. To be extra sure, I put goo-gone directly on the area, be careful not to spill, I had towels on my seats just in case it would drip. Anyhow, after about 1 - 2 minutes, I rubbed it off and then for the final touch, I used Mother's Back to Black and voila! Done. It took about 30 minutes, the longest part was rubbing the sticker off. Cool! Thanks again!

Best way to remove visor label

This is BY FAR the easiest way to remove the warning labels on your visor. Pick up some ACETONE from the hardware store and put some on a rag and just rub the sticker off. 3 minutes per visor.

Godspeed.
