Last night I saw an ad for Goodyear with a bunch of people banging tools and tires (kinda like Stomp). One of the wheel/tire combinations made me do a double take, "Hey! That's an s-lite!"
Next time the ad came on I spotted a PS/PS MCS in the background, near the Escalade, with s-lites.

You know, the tach in the Castrol ad is right out of the MCS!
It flashes by pretty quick, but it is for sure a MINI.

At least Goodyears are stock on some MINIs, Castrol is only aftermarket if it's in ANY MINIs.

Isn't that the one with the MCS's 6 speed shift **** in it too? I also noticed the key used to start the engine was a MINI key.

yeah I noticed it, they took the speedo/tach from a mini and the shifter.. but shwoed a different bigger engine.. says a lot about what they had to do to find acar that matched our perceptions for marketing purposes. It would have been a lot easier to use one car for the whole commericial, but there aren't any cars that have the stunning and fresh interior appearence that the mini has. I've yet to see an affordabel car that i can truly say is gorgoues on the inside. I think a lot of car makers need to make up and relize that the style they are offering is crap 9 times otu of 10.

I though the "standard" MINI synthetic oil was Mobil 1?

MINI definetelly uses Castrol .. on my MC the Castrol logo is even in the engine compartment, somewhere near the oil fill.
