I've narrowed it down to these 2 plates, but would love to hear other suggestions for a 5 or 7 digit plate . . . MINI themed, Tail of the Dragon themed, anti-SUV themed, or whatever

Yucca,

Probably more than you bargained for, but here is the list that I worked on for a few weeks, before I settled on A GOCART. I admit, some are really lame and some you have seen before on this site.

Sorry this is in list form - it was cut and paste.

Yes, way too much free time on my hands!

SUVSUK, MUV (mini utility vehicle)? Yucca sounds like you don't like your Mini

I have I8 N SUV (I ate an SUV) as my plate. Was also contemplating 4U2NV and ICU2 QT, but they were taken.

I like 1LESSUV best, but I think the organ donor plate has a certain dark humor that could be fun. . . .

I've always thought CMPNS8N or COMPN8N would be a cool Mini plate.

My 2 cents: I would really think twice before deciding on a plate that has an anti-SUV message. What do you think is going to happen when a SUV-loving jerk walks out into the parking lot and reads that on your defenseless car?

The ones relating to size are fun, but I prefer a more personalized, less obvious slant. Something about you, rather than about the car. Different strokes...

We are pretty close on that one. I spent a lot of time working on a plate and finally went with MYGOKRT. It looks best when I am at the autocross and the guys in the Porsches aren't sure why I keep beating them !

Yucca - I agree with the other comments, I personally wouldn't go for the negative plate, go for something that is positive and pro-MINI.

I know the hard process in choosing your plate. It took awhile before I picked: WHEEEEE
Everyone that sees it can't help but to smile.

Personally I think personalized plates are super corny, but if I would ever get one it would be BLAHX3

I see your point scooterboy. I hadn't thought of that because I don't see 1 LesSUV as negative. It's not slandering SUV's but rather making a statement that there is one less of them, and the owner is not one of 'the herd.' If it said SUVHTR, that would be different, but it doesn't... Just the same, if you're worried at all about possible vandalism, go with YUCCA Yucca!

BTW, why can't you get the organ donor plate configured to say 1 LesSUV?

I considered "SUVDOJR" (SUV dodger). But thought of the implications of parking your car and having some neanderthal not think it was funny.

Yucca....SUV owners and drivers are people too you know.....
As to yucca.....well, just don't go south of the border, though it its a tuber of sorts, in other places it can mean something akin to "up yours"......

The organ donor plate only allows for 5 digits. It's unfortunate because my ideal plate would be 1LESSUV on the organ donor plate.

I'm not worried about taking any flack on the roads from SUV owners. The ones that are annoying and rude are not going to be any more annoying or rude just because my plate makes fun of them.

It's not like they can catch me, ha ha ha!

I like the 1LESSUV, Yucca. To go along with SCoop's comment about "The Herd". How about a tag that says NOTACOW?

In the UK, you are not allowed personalized plates, but if you are clever you can make ones up within the numbering system. if you ever pick up the times of London or any other newspaper, a scan of the classifieds will take you to REGISTRAATIONS......and believe it or not, there is a market for plates that either have cool combinations or are so old they have very few characters.....I imagine that plate 1A probably goes for over $200K. the government now AUCTIONS off the clever combinations when a new series comes out.....I remember the plate H2 EAU went for something like $80K when it came on the block.....owner of a water processing plant bought it.....
