I've read much here on the high number of great motoring miles racked up on Coopers in very little time. For better or worse, my '02 Cooper is not a commuter and spends most of its life within the San Francisco city limits.

Today, Ringo is at the dealer for his ~10K service. So, after almost exactly 19 months, I've got just shy of 10K miles. That's less than 600 miles/month!

I wonder who else out there is also is the extremely low mileage club. Don't tease us too much you high-volume motorers!

just at 17 months and 11,400 miles...daily driver

which is where I find the irony...the MINI is a classic urban assault vehicle and I live within 3 miles of home...whereas many posters (those who have posted)say they are driving 30 minutes or more to work EVERYDAY each way meaning they live in suburbia...or anti-urban sprawl areas...so is it motoring or commuting? I look at it as driving because you want to drive.

I should definitely run out of time warranty before mileage warranty!

23 months, 14,500 miles = 630 miles-per-month

Well, I don't have my mini yet so it has no miles.
I just wanted to respond to the commuting thing.
I have a 30 min. drive each way, I live in a small city north of SF, not really suburbia but not a city, anyhow I drive 14 miles twice each day over a twisty mountian/hill road. I would call that motoring, even though I would rather win the lottery and not have to work. May as well turn a commute into motoring if you can.

Almost 6 months, and I just broke 5K. I think anything less than 1K/month is low.

I only live 4.5 miles from work, so 9 miles 5 days a week, although it is a 25-45 minute commute stupid city.

I have only put on 9500 miles since I got the car about 6 months ago

6400 miles in 12 months. No commuting. Other cars.

But the miles are all FUN miles, not drudge driving, so it should count double, right?

Regards,
Red

19K in 19 months, or 1K x mo.; daily driver.

Guess I have great roads nearby, as I'm never at a loss for motoring fun.

Count me in!!!! 8500 miles and 18 months of motoring!!! Love the car but the military has presidence in my life. I am now defending the War on Terrorism. I defend freedom within the military just so you all can motor the freeways and byways as you wish. I love my job defending freedom, and as long as you all do me a favor and just give me a wave, I'm happy with that!

We are in the 'club' at 19 months each and appear to drive the least.

His 6530 miles, Hers 4399 miles. That's 344miles a month for me, and 232/month for her. All of these miles are accompanied by an ear to ear grin.

We don't motor nearly enough
His, Chile RED over, Madness intake, Magnaflow exhaust, Helix 15% Pulley & RDR Swaybar
Hers, Electric Blue / Union Jack on top and BONE Stock

I win!!!
5 months old, and only 1000 miles. It is only a weekend driver, and I have been working weekends (one long distance trip of 400 miles return). I would love to take him to work, but my Civic already has all the scars from the morons in the schoolparking lot where I work.
So, I offer my apologies to the MINI Gods of Motoring and vow to make up the mileage over the Summer vacations, when I have nothing to do except drive....now if I can convince myself to sell the old faithful Civic workhorse, I would have no excuse.

'02 MCS with 5200 miles so far.

Of course I bought it from Carmax back in January with 943 miles on the odometer... so I am not long for the low mileage club.

So your car was only driven 943 miles by the original owner in a bit over 1 year? What was the history behind it?
