I just spent a little bit of time on the John Cooper Works site looking at the prices they are asking for used Mini's.

If you are thinking of selling yours, try selling it to someone overseas (outside the USA). Example: A Chili Red Works Mini goes for $40,000.00 USD! And this was a used one with 900 miles on it!

The same car in the USA goes for around $30,000.00. Even if you include the cost of shipping the buyer (and you) will make out extremely well.

When I checked all the other cars available, the same type of pricing structure existed, at least 25% cheaper here in the states.

Am I missing something here, this appears to be a slam dunk, no?

Wonder what price Canadian MINIs would fetch over seas? Hmmmm..........$60 Large for my MCS anyone? I'll even throw in some polar bear meat. Apparently too many people think polar bears run wild all over the Country up here.
Cheerios,

Yes.....as crazy as it sounds.......they tend to frolick in the subzero climates.......up north. Sorry to burst your bubble there. But if it helps ya feel better, I can lie to you and say that just today I roped me up rassled one to the ground and took him home, and put him with all the others I have in a big pen in the backyard of my house that's in the shape of an igloo. Like a polar bear petting zoo. Wanna come over? One MINI mod for me per person for admitance.
Cheers,

Sweet. Now that's what I call a trade. I'll have to give up one of the team. Ya see......I use them as a dogsled team.....except instead of dogs, I use the bears, and my MINI in place of the sled. Good times. They really haul a$$!! I just smoke those outta town ricers with that set up. Those damn bears really dig in for traction with those mega paws.
I'm sure we could milk this for even longer.
Cheers,
