Hi torque app users would just like to ask what display are you guys using?
Im currently using the the boost, rev, speed, coolant and voltage (although im not sure if the voltage is accurate it seems it is less than 1v compared to my d1 spec and if you check with a multimeter hehe)

Thanks

I've tried using a/f but it doesn't support it for some reason. Anyone know why? Works fine on my A4

youloze,

I think it is b/c the MINI uses narrowband o2 sensors instead of wideband ones. As the name indicates, you won't get much reading other than lean, just right or rich; with little varaince in between to give an actual reading.

Thanks for the explanation, I didn't know that the Mini used narrowband. Seems strange for a modern car, especially for a boosted one.

Thanks!

What info did you use to set up HP and TQ? I could never seem to get accurate readings with my A4.

BTW, I use Boost, Coolant Temp, RPM and Intake Temp.

Mine worked as soon as I set it up, but only when I am on the power, once you take your foot out of it, the reading goes blank for both. I am also not using the ELM adpator

No problem, I find it odd as well.

Can anyone down south or just near sea level confirm my boost reading of 15.3 psi near/at redline in 2nd? Ambient temp was 85-ish as per the car and intake temp according to torque was in the mid-upper 120s. Sounds right to me given the conditions but I wanted to confirm with others. Only mods are a DDM Intake and 17% pulley.

I did change the names, My volts go no higher then 13.3, a low of about 12.1. My intake temp runs about 10 to 11 over outside air temp, Higher at idel but cool right down, I do have a M7 Scoop, and the M7 Airdiverter, i have seen 22 PSI on the Supercharger, which is a complete rebuild with a 15% pulley and CAI. When i was using the ELM adaptor I do not think it was as accurate as the one I have now, cause I use to get that warning message all the time, now I do not.

(at idle) i hope my alternator is not broken...

I was also having a low voltage and was concered about my alt, so i had it check oout and the battery, they were like new, When i was using my scan guage I also had hgher readings. I am now using the BAFX Product, it also give me when the car is cold to drivecarefully, tells me when I hit operating temps and warns me of ice. I really think the ELM was not such a great adaptor

you have a pic of the bafx product? yeah, i also noticed that when i look at my voltage in my d1 spec they are not the same reading in my d1 spec it is higher by 1v. though the throttle position is the same in the torque app and in my d1 spec. rev and speed are almost the same

Hey so everyone using the BAFX

are you using the Torque app on your phone or a tablet? and does the app need to use cellular data or is everything between the app and the device.

So has anyone actually gotten a proper HP reading? I've been using Torque Pro for years now. Seems my MINI S is only running 18.2 HP. :D

Shocking, anyone else know of any another faults?
