Oh yea were soon to be a-motor-in. Here are some picts that Julie sent me.
The aero kit and clear taillights sure make the car look different from the original factory configuration.
Also that BRG paint looks very different depending on the lighting conditions.
Factory Stock:

Front with Aero Kit:

Side front with Aero Kit:

Side rear with Aero Kit:

Rear with Aero Kit and Clear Tail Lights:

Next is the stuff I’m going to add- wheels and other bits. It WILL be soon…..

What’s different about this aero kit is that since I had the white taillights installed the dealer installed the required (in California) rear red reflectors. I was a little nervous about how they would look but think they look great, Classic MINI did stellar job of installing the kits.

I see you are planning on adding some MODS to get your "rice" look.

Bay area guys eh? WHATS UP! My MCS should be here the first week of June. Its in production now and should be done on the 6th. Once I get that 1250 mile break in over with, Im going to add on an Alta pulley, Alta intake, Alta Diverter/Sprayer, Magnaflow Exhaust, and the AmD one-click..... all of which are sitting on my floor right now except the one-click!
Im in Tracy but I work in the bay area 3 nights/week. Myself and a few other guys from MINI2.com planned to get together some time in June and do a run... not sure where yet, but are you in??

JCampos,
I would love to do a run. BTW What's the scoop on the AmD one-click?
Found this web site:
http://www.auto-amd.com/minicoopers.asp
that gives this info:
One Click
AmD Technik OneClick unit - eliminates stumble and hunting effects on the standard BMW code and provides an 8BHP increase in performance without use of a pulley - Fully reversible using the AmD Technik OneClick!
Is this an ECU type upgrade?

The time has finally come, the sun is out, the wait is over, what a fine day it is.
I am leaving the house now to meet with the group to pick up my MINI.
I will be motoring in just a couple of hours. Yippee

I guess I'm a member of the May club, I picked up my LY/LY MCS from Julie last Saturday, May 1, my birthday! Mods are well under way already, installed my Milltek cat-back this morning; painted aero side skirts, Alta intake, and Unichip are in transit.
Julie had 13 MINI's ready to ship to California when I was there last weekend. Hope you all get yours safe and sound.
