Hey Guys,

Anyone here on the list from NJ?

To mention a few.....

I've seen a yellow with black bonnet stripes on Rt 78 , a blue with a checkered roof and mirrors on skyline drive, a silver and black in West Milford and a black and white on Rt 287.

Mines a black and white cooper with a S front bumper cover, an aero grill, black limo tint all around and White ASA Wheels....anyone seen me? I'm from Northern Nj

Funny how excited I get when I see another mini.....ya think I was a kid or something!

There are quite a few people on here from NJ. I'm down near Princeton so it sounds like the chances of running into you are pretty slim. I grew up in the general area that you mentioned but I'm "down in the South" now as my parents like to call it. Anything south of Rt. 78 is South Jersey as far as they are concerned.

Check the regional forum, there are quite a few of us here.

Robyn, I always considered everything below Exit 9 on the Turnpike "South Jersey"

I am from Chatham - IB/W MC with OZ Chrono Evo's 17" and some other nice mods. Car is hard to miss.

Dan,

Now that I'm "down here", I consider anything south of Trenton to be South Jersey. That still puts me in North Jersey! I even hung on to my 201 area code cell phone number so I still have a little link to up there.

Woohoo! You gotta promise to wave if you see me. I don't get many people waving around here.

I have to ditto what D.D. says: "At the Jersey Shore, here, too!"

Specifically, you can see my Jet Black/Jet Balck MINI (with chrome accents) motoring around the Eatontown/Tinton Falls/Red Bank area on a daily basis.

Every morning on my way to the coffee shop before work, I pass a Liquid Yellow/White Roof MINI... don't know who she is but she always waves and smiles and I do, too.

I also see a Chili Red with white roof and white stripes MINI all the time around here, and there are actually TWO MINI's in the parking lot where I work in Eatontown: Mine, and a Cranberry Red one that is owned by another employee. (I forget what they call that discontinued colour, for now I call it cranberry red!)

I also see a Yellow JCW edition MINI parked at the Monmouth Mall all the time... never see the owner though.

As far as delineating South and North Jersey, for me, Route 195 (Runs East-West from Wall Township at the Shore to Trenton on the West Siiiddde.) was always the dividing line -- anything North of 195 is North Jersey, anything South of it is considered South Jersey.

Anyways...if ya see a Jet Black/Jet Black MINI w/sunroof and chrome miror caps/bumpers, smile, wave, or give the thumbs up...be happy...be cool...be yourself...motor in a MINI!

Rock On,

-Joe

New Providence moving to Stirling NJ. I'm on route 78 and 24 everyday! I'm with dandp - anything south of New Brunswick (where I went to school - RUTGERS) is south Jersey!

Until I started dating a North Jersey girl, I never realized how much discord there is between Southern and Northern New Jersey people... or at least from those up North...

To those of us from Pennsylvania, New Jersey is New Jersey... North... South... whatever...

I'm from Bedminster and travel 287 to my office in Parsippany. Mine is a Chili Red/White MCS with stripes and polished Rota Slipstream wheels. It is now my daily driver after I sold my truck.

RallyMINI.................I live in Island Heights, just up the parkway from you. I was to LBI last week to visit a friend, but I never see any MINI's there. I have the only one in Island Heights, but there are others in Toms River.

Has anyone had any luck with the New Jersey Mini Owners Club? I have e-mailed them SEVERAL times, no answer, and also have checked their website that has not changed since September? It seems that a club would have been a great idea if it was active. If this association is not defunct.........then the website should be removed or at least some info posted on this. Very frustrating.

There's a New Jersey Mini Owners Club? Is this the one that existed for the Classics?

I'm commuting from aberdeen to my office in morristown every day on the GSP, 78 and 24, I see a few unmodified coopers and cooper s on the way. It's a great way to start the day depending on traffic.
