We just recently finished our break in and now at about 1650K. Tonight while watching the new digital speedometer I went 127mph!!!! Unfortunately I had to let go the gas, but fortunately for me the cop pulled someone else over already. Standard Cooper - it felt so solid I wish I could have kept going. Anyone else have top speeds?

I don't have a top speed yet... but we're going on a trip to Cedar Key in a couple of weeks. The road out from Gainesville to the coast (Florida) is the longest stretch of straight, flat nothing I've ever seen; I plan to open it up a bit and see what I can hit. I'll post back once I have an actual number.

I set the cruse control at 135 in AZ for about 10 min. it was a good rush. After I kicked it off it felt like I was going so slow. The car was supper solid and I felt like I could have gone faster if the computer let me.

I've heard that the speedo reads 10% plus about 2 mph lower than the actual speed .... thus 100 mph on the speedo is really 92 mph.
So what are the highest speeds clocked by radar or nav system?

If it reads LOWER wouldn't 100 = 112?? 100+ 10 (10%) + 2 = 112 MPH.
