R50/53 Picking up the WORKS on Friday! WAhoo!
The Works kit is good. You should have some fun soon. How exciting.
An owner of an MCS with lots of mods including 19% pulley drove a JCW kit MCS and commented that the JCW kit MINI worked very well. So the similarities of a modded MCS put it into a different driving class compared to stock.
I would think of any JCW kit MCS as a highly modded MINI. The fun to drive quotient should be quadrupled.
Enjoy.

Thanks for all the replys confirming my decesion! I've been down the aftermarket mod street before and having the warranty intact is well worth it. (imho)
I've had lots of cars but am quite excited to have this one. Can't wait til FRIDAY!!!

Congratulations. I got mine in October, and I love it. I had the car for a year before I bought the JCW kit, so the added performance came as a welcome difference, though the stock MCS is great as well. It's a cool feeling of extra strength throughout the powerband. Enjoy.... Bruce in Santa Monica
