What are some of the best lightweight rims? Should i order online or go to my local discount tire? I read my r58 are a whopping 25 pounds without a tire, add in rotation....anyone who has upgraded to lightweights...is there a noticable gain in performance/ mileage? ive looked into Konig, and others on ebay but i'd like to get yalls opioners

I upgraded my car to light weight enkei RPF1 wheels, I can def. feel the difference between these and the stock setup. Car feels more responsive. My wheel size is 17x7 +43

It's so hard to just think of coughing up the money for those Enkies....I've had expense light weight wheels...and when I look back at it I kinda regret spending all that money on just wheels.

949's are good...if you're up for a 15' wheel
You'd have to go 15x8 to make it fit the R58S brakes.

I know konig use to make a wheel....Daylite I believe...those were about 14lbs a piece at 125 a pop. Not sure if that's still available.

You can go lighter then OEM...but no sense in spending up the butt for super light wheels if they won't see a track.

My wheels are 22lbs a piece and I have yet to find anything I like on the R58.....such a weird shape and the conicals have grown on me....but a bit light would be nice!

Tirerack has Kosei K4R's which are 12.8 lbs in 16 inch size. They are $159.00 each.

I love my 17x7 +38 Enkei PF01's, and I definitely notice a difference between those and the stock 18" JCW wheels. I also have a set of 15x7.5 +42 949 Racing wheels with spacers that I use for track work. They are super lightweight.

Rota Slipstream 17x7.5 +45 offset and 18.15lbs and only $676. I like the style but would go with the Rota Slipstream 16x7 +40 offset at 13.9lbs.

Picking wheels is like having a woman pick shoes for you. Find what you like. I can recommend the NM wheels if you like them.
