How to increase throttle response on r53?

I'm used to driving an 02 audi tt 1.8t and an 03 20th 1.8t gti that both respond pretty quickly when stepping on the pedal.

What things could I do to help the throttle response?

What year is your car?

Earlier R53's can get benefit from the Detroit Tuned, or modified, Bypass valve.

+1 Sprint Booster is a great addition to any R53
It is not so much how long it takes for the input to reach the destination as the map. SB uses a different map, 2 actually.

Sprint booster all the way. Try it and you will see for yourself. They have a 30 day money back guarantee to try it.

I hate the lag as well. I don't have the Sprint Booster but when the time comes I'll most likely buy the D1 Spec throttle controller. It acts just like the SB but it's cheaper.

A customized tune on your stock ECU can accomplish the same goal. . . or even more aggressive depending on your liking...

Are you serious? Why don't I have one of those RIGHT NOW?

Clearly, I need to prioritize my spending...

I have heard great things about the Sprint Booster. If the D1 Spec Throttle Controller is as good, that's a steal!

Other options, with drawbacks, include a lightweight flywheel and maybe a lighweight crank damper.
but the lighter weights can make hill starts harder, and maybe cause chatter...
Sprintbooter and clones are usually adjustable....so can be ajusted different for traffic jams...so car is no too jumpy....but a tune with a mild improvement was hood for me.
