Thanks for all of your help so far-you folks are great! I need a very small piece of windshield trim. It is the little black piece of plastic, about 3 inches long, above the driver's side A Pillar. Is it possible to buy this little piece, or do I have to buy the whole A Pillar trim kit?

I have also been searching for the same part ever since it flew off while driving on the freeway. I've had no luck with even finding the name of the trim. It is a part of the roof line, directly above the A-pillar. It slides in where the top of the A-pillar and the top corner of the windshield meet. Found a picture! hopefully this is what OP was talking about.

Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck finding the piece in any diagrams, maybe Pelican will know where to find it!

Send a PM to Bahman on this forum, he is parting out a R53 and I got some of those pcs like that for the back of the Mini off of him. Way Motor Works has several parts cars as well.

 

That 3inch part is not available by itself. You have to buy the whole rain rail with it.

 

Maybe a salvage yard?

 

Or through someone parting out their MC as ACallahan suggested...
