Hi Amy welcome to the group! Wow 8-9 months!! Did you want to stretch it out that long or is that just how long your dealership is backlogged? If you want a MINI faster you have other options. There are several dealerships that have nearly 0 wait time before receiving a production number with actual production occuring only a few weeks later. I ordered my MCS in Feb and it's already been built. It should be here in a couple of weeks. Let us know if you are interested. There are several dealers that would be more than happy to help you out. Happy motoring!!

You will get a 2005 model, so be patient and welcome to NAM! I know about the newly designed Xenon HID projector style headlamps for 2005 (must have), but other changes should be minor.
