R50/53 flat tire!!!
i was driving and my flat tire monitor went on(i have run flats). I immediately started clokcing the miles and onyl have 15 or so, should i bring it to goodyear or MINI, will mini charge for anything?
Wow, the wonder of the online world is that someone would ask the Internet what to do about a flat tire instead of just calling a mechanic...
Whether you get it repaired by Goodyear (or any tire shop) or the dealer, either way it's at your expense. Your warranty doesn't cover flat tires any more than it covers running out of gas. But assuming the puncture is on the flat of the tread, it should be repairable. And while you can go many more than 15 miles on the "flat" runflat, you should still get the repair done a.s.a.p.
Good luck!

My sensor goes off at least once a month. I've never had a flat yet. When I check the tire pressures , sometimes the difference is only 3-5 psi lower than the other tires! It usually happens with a extreme weather change (crazy Indiana weather).
So. my advice, check your pressures, reset the monitor and keep driving.

>>reset the monitor and drive a little more and see if it comes on again. Sometimes a wheel will spin on something (water, sand, etc.) and will trigger the sensor.
>> drive on snow and ice never had wheel spin trip anything
