Ha. You really thought I didn't understand your question?

Why not peruse the marketplace and see what similar MINIs are selling for? Or use one of the many online auto value tools and adjust for mods? And BTW.... mods don't add much value. In fact some reduce the value.

And frankly in some markets Mini's are a tough sell. I've seen very nice low mileage Minis take months to sell and I live in a pretty good Mini market compared to most.

 

I bought my '04 with 52k for 11.5k (roughly)... I think the KBB was 13-14k? mine was bone stock too, but I suspect you could probably advertise it for 15.5k and don't take lower then 15k... that's my guess... I also have only owned a mini since May.
What I recommend is returning it to stock if you can. People want stock cars to do their own thing with. When I was in the market for a mini I didn't want one all tricked out because I wanted to add parts myself. save the parts for your next mini (or sell them on here and make a little more cash with all the parts)

 

Agreed, check nada or kbb and don't expect much in return for mods.

In most cases performance mods decrease value to all but the high school/college aged market. This is because mods mean abused in the eyes of car shoppers.

I bought my 06 MCS with 27k miles on it Feb of 2011 for $16k bone stock with new tires, brakes, fluids and filters.

The only mods I would increase price for would be factory JCW upgrades. Anything else though You'd be better off returning to stock and parting out the mods individually on the market here on NAM

 

I would say your car SHOULD sell for around $12-13k.....Recently a 06 JCW with 40k on it in the Burgh sold at a dealer for $13,500. You just never know. Post a price that is a bit lofty, be patient and know you can always come down on your price. I think somewhere around 13k is fair. You can't go off of what blue book is, you just need to look in the marketplace and make a fair assessment. My last FYI is you will not get squat for your parts, you are far better off selling them separate and making some cash back if possible. People gobble them up on this site.......I personally see a set of wheels I might want in your signature!!!
