NEW mini owner 2005 cooper s
Just bought a 2005 mini cooper s with 30,000 original miles. It's all stock under the hood only thing it has is MSR wheels what should I add to it and please attach link with the item. Thanks!!!
i got a really good deal 14g... the owner of the car before me owned couple of of tire and auto centers traded this and a 2001 Viper in for a Mercedes.. the dealership was closing down so i talked them down to 14,000
Congrats on your purchase, that's a great looking MINI! I like the red roof & mirrors with the black wheels & pillars - very sharp.
As for what to do, that kinda depends on:
There are a number of good vendors out there who sell aftermarket parts for our MINIs. I'd start with Way Motor Works, also check the Vendor link on the left nav bar of this site.
Common mods are a reduced supercharger pulley, cold air intake (CAI), rear sway bar (RSB), strut tower braces, exhaust, stance (springs, camber plates, etc.), custom stripes & graphics. From there you get into injectors and beyond...
Take some time to read through the various threads in the First Gen area, use search, and you'll find a **** ton of info. It's almost too much to address in one post, but once you start looking around you won't easily stop.
Just remember to have fun, and that you don't have to do it all at once. Nothing wrong for making a plan and executing over time.
As for what to do, that kinda depends on:
- how much you want to spend
- how much you want to improve performance
- what you want to improve: speed, handling, aesthetics, etc.
