I like this column, but this week he picke on the MINI owners. Boo.

Here is the link: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,113590,00.html

Here is the quote:
Almost as annoying as vanity license plates are people who own motorcycles or Mini Coopers who wave and beep at each other while driving on the road (as if they belonged to some cheese-ball fraternity).

But here's another one for you. My friend Jason named his Mini. Its name? Minimus Kitten: Adventure Cat. Time to think about a pet, bud. Grrr!

I am sure all the fans of Faux News here on NAM will call that "Fair And Balanced™" reporting.

Really - who cares?
It's Fox News - they're wrong about just about everything.

Ugh. I couldn't make it halfway through that column. Oh, the irony of a columnist trying to rally everyone around sharing his annoyance at things while clearly having no idea how annoying he is himself... Does he do this "grrrr!" crap in every column, or is it just something special he cooked up for this week?

MINI dissed on FOXNEWS.com
Just to leep the record straight, the column did not diss the MINI Cooper. It dissed on the owners who wave and honk.

The author was probably just mad because he was never asked to join a cheese-ball fraternity...

Grrrrrrr???? Hmmm....he sounds like an angry person. Sounds like he could use a healty dose of top-down (or open) motoring, some uninhibited waving, and some enthusiastic honking. If he expects all of us to be self-absorbed trolls devoid of enjoyment and a sense of community.....well, he's missing alot in life.

Gang:

The Moron in question, the author of the article's main claim to fame: he was in "Tony and Tina's Wedding". Yes, my friends, neither Walter Cronkite nor Dan Rather has THAT on his resume, eh? There's nothing like solid journalistic experience and that's what this guy has - nothing.

Can't get the link to work from the Fox news page, but since it's Fox, most of their news is opinion anyway, so this is no surprise. Other things which probably make this guy go grrr: people who think for themselves and don't fall for ridiculous slogans like "fair and balanced" when such a slogan is used by folks who are to fair what Howard Stern is to civilized talk radio.

Well, if one connects the dots... Dub-ya's cousin runs Fox News (at least he did - which will explain the music played while they showed the carpet bombing of Baghdad, which is against international law, but that is a different topic all together) and the Bush's wants all of us to Drive SUV, to spend $60.00 each time at the pump for something that gets 14MPG. Doesn’t a MINI represent everything that Bush people hate? Since he can't pick on the car, he has to pick on the people.

A backlash against the SUV backlash? Hmmm…Grrrrrr… Burp

What really scares me is how many people actually watch FOX news and thinks it is reality. Many thanks to Collin Powel’s son and Rupert Murdock lying in bed together spooning… Hmmmm…. Grrrr…

Fox News is privatized state-run media. They'll be against anything that doesn't waste fuel or other resources. If they knew how inefficient the MINI really was, MINI-owners would be considered super-patriots.

Well, it does say Respond to Mike. Maybe we should all respond and slap him with our friendly-waving hands in words. Or, we could just call him a *******. My dad had a 73 Corvette, and they are like a fellowship, if you don't wave to another Vette, you are shunned. GRRRR...this man is actually making a living writing crap like this....Grrr...so, this is how he puts gas in his giant SUV..mmmm....cheeeessee.
