GP spoiler - Yes/No ?

I am lucky to receive a used GP (replica) wing as gift, and I am debating if I should install it. I do not want to look like a GP pretender or too rice (big spoiler), but somewhat I like the wing.
any opinion?

I like it and hope to get a replica myself but I have other exterior parts on mine like my tow hook and front splitter. It all depends on the look your going for.

Haha, that is very funny, Braminator.
as matter of fact I was thinking about to sell it (I think the spoiler might be too much for me- I am an old man).
it comes as a kit, including the GP spoiler and the EVO style fin), let me know if you are really interested to buy it.
thank you,

Tony

the spoiler is from Fubrication,( http://www.fubrication.com/product/mini ) it is in excellent condition. it retail for $800(combo) and I will sell it for $500 + shipping (I am in Los Angles area - more than welcome to pick up from me) let me know if anyone interested.
thank you all,

The fubrication wing is nice--if you're selling it with the delete kit and it's in good condition, that's a great price.

I'm debating on that wing or the new Orranje wing, which should be available any day now.

I installed the Fubrication wing myself. Its time consuming but its worth it. Install old dude so you get a second look while driving.

Since I don't have 500.00 at the moment, I say install it. If I had the money I would say sell it

I am not a fan of wings on cars. Some can look good but that looks terrible. Cars with the Mini body style look hideous with wings. A small, subtle lip looks okay, not those monstrosities.

+1

Certainly this is a matter of personal preference, but to my eye the addition of the GP wing to a non-GP Mini takes the look of the car over the line into "tuner" zone. If the car is your track day ride or you're under 30, then sure. If you want to preserve the integrity of the original look, as about a 1000 German engineers spent a heck of a lot of time working on, leave it be.

...but to each their own.
