I am really going crazy. This waiting is brutal. Before I had decided on a MCS I was fine. Now that it's ordered it's all I think about.

So I have a production date of February 2nd. I was told I had a February production date by my dealer, but frankly I didn't believe it. Now I see it I believe it. I'm so happy. It's a long way to California though so it's still a long wait. --sigh--

Note -- it's not on the web yet, but a phone call to Mini confirmed it.

You can get a fix on the weekends by going to either the so cal or nor cal mini club events. Time does fly pretty fast, before you know it your MINI will be on a freighter out west!!

I don't think that you have a Feb 2nd Production Date. (Sorry, I don't want to be the bring-er of bad news.)

I had a Jan 05 Production Date and that meant that my MINI would be built by the 5th week of Jan. That's exactly what happened.

As of this very moment, my MINI is sitting on the dock waiting to get onto a boat that sails today. If it dosen't get on, it'll be at least 6 more days until the next ship.

I too know what you're going thru......I can't wait until it's in my driveway so I can minimize its time just sitting there for my neighborhood to admire....let's motor.

Thanks... glad to hear it's the production day and not week. Even the second week isn't bad. I was told a March delivery by my dealer, but I wasn't betting my life on it or anything.

It's so great reading how much people here love their Mini's -- despite some problems.

Dreaming of mods is all that's keeps me from going nuts. I all ready ordered a parcel shelf and some other goodies. :smile: I will probably order more before it's here.

This is the first time I have ever ordered a car. I am glad I did it, because I am getting exactly what I want and saved some money, but this wait... --sigh--

March delivery sounds about right. Mine was built in March 03 and I picked it up on April 11th.
There is a lot of info about tracking your MINI shipment on MINI2.com. Two message boards also helps to occupy the time.
