Going to do normal maintenance. What to do?
Hi guys. I am about to do normal maintenance on the car. I have only been driving it and from when I bought it it had no history. Have had no problems with it so far.
Just when I am standing and the car is running it gets sometimes this rough idle.
Let the info flow

What year of car?
If a 1st Gen car, 02-06, I would buy the Bentley Service Manual before I do anything.
It will help with any maintence issue that you want to do.
It has dirty pictures.

Miles would help. Few things I wool look into...
Oil change
Coolant flush
Spark plugs
If high miles, new ignition cables
Fuel filter
Intake filter cabin filter
Inspect bushings
Transmission fluid
Inspect brakes
Check for any leaks

Trending Topics
As mentioned above, I would change ALL fluids:
Engine Oil/filter
Transmission Fluid
Brake Fluid
Coolant
Maybe PSP fluid?
Check wear items:
Brake pads/rotors
Motor mounts
Front lower control arm bushings
Check for oil leaks:
Oil pan gasket
Crank Sensor o-ring seal
Oil cooler
Crank seal
Check plugs/wires/coil terminals
Check coolant reservoir for signs of leaks
Check PSP fan: does it free spin or feel gritty? It can be removed and the dirt shaken out. Also check operation by turning the AC on and make sure it turns on.
I spent an hour under my car and then under the hood with a shop light and flash light checking everything out and getting to know my new car, the forums are very useful and a lot of DIYers have assembled good info for us late bloomers
