Yep, it's open. I pick mine up tomorrow (10/02/02, Cosmos Black & white roof).
I guess it's a temp location for now, but they have quite a few on the lot, are very nice to deal with and are selling at MSRP also. Tomorrow can't come fast enough.

The waiting is brutal, I finally got mine about 10 days ago after a very long wait. The black sounds awesome, is it an "S"? I will have to visit the dealer sometime.

No "S". I have a long commute and MPGs were a priority. (so was fun and styling).
I actually bought mine off the lot. I had been in a couple of times (test driving and making sure the kids fit in the back seat) The sales guy (Dave Harting, good guy) said he had a lease fall through that was almost the exact config I had said I wanted and asked if I wanted to see it. I went in looked it over and put down a deposit.
No real wait for me, although the few days it has taken to finalize the deal seems like a million years. I can't wait till tomorrow. Did I mention, I can't wait till tomorrow?

How are you liking yours so far? How are those leather seats? That lapis blue looks real nice!

The car is amazing, fast, and sticks to the road like glue. The leather is very nice, the seats really hold you in place. Have fun tomorrow.

I'm in the south-west part of the state, around the kalamazoo area. Got my MINI in SC and drove it back via the back roads of the Smokies.. What a blast!!! All thrid and fourth gears low revs but still screamin' fun. Tested out the run flats outside of Metro, in the construction zone, and didn't belive the monitor they handled so well sans air. Should be coming up on the 10k mark soon and haven't decided on which dealer to go to yet Detroit or Chicago area. Sound like Det. might need a litle more time to get ready. Motor on Dudes

Hi Guys,

I bought my MC in NY in May, and it was one of the first ones in Michigan on May the 4th. It does not like the rough roads, as I have the Sport Suspension. I have received MANY looks around the AA/ Belleville area, and rented my car out to suppliers for static displays...the car paid for its first year of payments!

Motor ON..

Hey...we ought to get our MINIs together one Saturday and have Breakfast or something.

Picked it up yesterday and I have 150 miles on it already. Unfortunately 65 of those where going to and from work. Oh well, this is one fun car to drive. My kids and their friends all want me to drive them around. Hahaha, I guess I'm the cool Dad now!

Have fun. I am.

P.S. Anyone else have that bad Night Ranger song "Motoring" going thru their head. I hate that song, too.
