No joke, a friend of the family's 4 year old was examining the "features" on my 1:18 Mini model. And it too develped the famous stress crack! Just opening and closing the doors/hood and rolling around. No dropping or accidents!

 

That level of detail and effort to capture all the true features of the MINI are astonishing.

to make it even better, I can barely feel it from outside. Not inside the model. Man, Maisito sure knows how to build em! At least my lego-family, who occupies my mini models, will be safe!

 

How funny!!!! Scale-model testing...isn't this how the Wrights solved the problems of controlled flight? Hmmm...something to think about.
