I tried searching but could not find anything.. Does anyone know what mod's, if any real, were put on the Italion Job Minis? I don't know if they added the exhaust sound in the editing room, but they sounded mean as hell.

All I really remember was the one's used in the tunnel and subway filming were electric powered. Found that pretty interesting.

Exhaust sound? Do you mean the supercharger whine? My S with Alta intake sounds meaner than the MCS in the movie.

YEP, all stock MINIs. Pepper White and Indy Blue are Coopers and the Chili Red is a MCS. All have white roofs (even the Pepper White, which is really not available) and all have black mirror caps (which isn't available with white roofs - go figure!) but the engines, wheels, fogs, driving lights, sun roofs, etc... are stock.

They did replace (as mentioned above) the engines with electric to run them down the electric subway system.

They all have full Aero Kits, which help in keeping the movie consistant from scene to scene as they had minor fender damage. It was easy to put on new bumper covers as they needed it.

They did keep the movie sounds honest, because they only have the supercharger sound when they are showing the Red MCS. and yes, I agree the supercharger sound on the movie is louder than I hear when I'm driving mine. I find my car is a very solid and quiet ride.

Here's my MCS "MR BRIDGER"
- yes, named after the criminal mastermind in the 1969 Italian Job! -

I know a bloke who is friends with Mark Walhberg's stuntman for the movie, the cars are pretty much stock except for the fact that they have straight-pipes for exhaust.

It just seem's they're alot louder and throatier in the movie?? I don't know, I just got mine so I havent really driven it hard enough to listen to the exhaust  In the deleted scenes the make the S sound like it has a blowoff valve.
