Thank you alerting us to this obvious scam.
>>Who says it takes thousands of dollars for performance upgrades?
If you have an MCS just add the 15% reduction pulley upgrade for $400 for a real 20HP gain and a bunch more low end torque.
There are some problems with the Zero Gravity Z-1 performance module
Obviously the dyno result is not from the MINI (rather generic)-218 HP and 201 ft.lb torque for the stock car!

I looked over his advertisement of the product and I don't think Ebay can do much.
It is up to the buyers to beware of shaddy sellers. Just look at the postitive feedback he has gotten- many from people that have minimal feedback themselves which in my mind means bogus feedback.
When people do complain he says read my ad, it doesn't claim the product is a computer chip- it merely implies that the 20 HP gain is from a chip. It's just modern day Ebay Snake oil. Enjoy.

Even if every single "module" sold gets returned for a refund, the guy still keeps making money:
He charges $7.95 for shipping within the US (including the ubiquitous bogus "handling fees"
. The shipping/handling fees are non-refundable. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Then there's a 25% "restocking fee" on all returned items. This amounts to $6.25.
So, for every "module" he builds for maybe 50 cents and ships for maybe $1.50, he gets back at least $14.20, even if the product is returned! Nice hustle.

Someone brings up this product about once every 4-6 months...same thing happens (ie everyone puts that thing down) and then we don't hear about for a while until someone someone brings it up again.
If there are so many people out there wondering about the product, just buy one, send it to a tuner, and lets see some results. I think that someone like Randy, or one of the newer tuners coming up on the scene would do it. It looks so easy to install even I could install it (don't get me started on self mods

Look at it this way. Atleast our fake black box performance upgrade only costs 25 bucks instead of the 250 that the 350z owners are getting nailed for. LOL. Ah.. the internet, allowing predators to prey on the weak from the comfort of their own home....
