Or have you left them to remind you of the hazard. Mine are still there but they look crummy and are about to be removed. Anybody who has removed them, did they just peel of or did you need to use some kind of glue remover?

Mine was carefully removed before pulling out of the dealership. It left no residue. If it's been on a while it might not be that easy. Good luck.

No, I stuck this over the top of it.

Print it on "bumper sticker paper" available at most coputer and office supply stores.

Denatured alcohol does the trick. You can get it at a hardware store for about 3 bucks.

Just put some on a paper towel or two and rub, it comes off pretty quickly.

Do you mean the ones on the sun visors? They will rub right off after a two minute soak with denatured alcohol on paper towel. Quick, easy and leaves no trace.

God speed.

Pulled it off at a rest stop on my drive home. Used some saliva for the minimal amount of adhesive that was left afterward. I don't mind the sunvisor ones as much since they aren't in plain view.

well of course I peeled off the sticker on the passenger airbag (dash)
I also removed the airbag warnings from the sunvisors: Denatured alcohol and 10 minutes a side, and Taa-Daa!

Cheers,
Ryan

That sticker was the first thing to go. The Hawaii safety sticker was much harder to remove from the back bumper though. Just don't need the Hawaii sticker here in CA.

My first night I removed the dreaded "I'm going to hurt you! signed the air bag" sticker.
The Hawaii safety sticker can be razored off without hurting your MINI. Us folks like to relocate it to some extra metal plate stuck somewhere off the rear of the car be it the license plate frame or the lower edge of the bumper. Anywhere but on the bumper itself.

D.J., that exterior sticker mod was required by state law like having seat belts.

I left all the stickers on the car, even the one on the windscreen with the warning about using cells phones and other electrical devices in the car. With the rubber floor mats and the warning stickers the interior has a industrial look to it.

I think that with the stickers removed you are no longer in danger of being killed by the airbags.

First thing I did to the MINI was take those ugly things off, pretty easy job. I feared that they would be there to stay; the ones on our Highlander seem permanently attached.

What about the cheesy "dealer" stickers they stick on the bumper. I was so pissed that they had the nerve to stick one on my car. Peeled it off right in the dealership and handed it to the salesperson.
