I recently ordered my mini and I just went to the owners lounge for the first time. When I put in my production number and everything, it listed a different mini than the one I ordered. Has anyone else encountered this? Maybe I just recieved the wrong production number. I put in a call to my Mini Rep, so hopefully I'll hear back soon. Any thoughts/comments are welcome.

 

This happened to me too.
It seems to be a lag in the Owner's Lounge update (about 3 days from my experience) and the fact that Production Numbers seem to get moved around until the order is actually processed. Your Motoring Advisor should be able to get this taken care of in a couple of days.

Same experience - had the wrong color etc. within a few days everything was correct. I do recommend that you check it though - make sure the online order agrees with what you ordered at the dealership.

 

Okay...It is finally showing a Black MINI with my options on it. It doesn't tell me that is has a whit top. It just says Jet Black MINI. IS that okay, or should I be seeing the roof color as well?

Once you get into the Owner's Lounge, go to Track Your MINI or Order Tracking. Skip through the intro and then go to Review Order Detail. Under the Factory Ordered Options box it should say Roof and Mirror Caps in White. You may have to scroll the box down to see all of the ordered options. If It doesn't, I would call or email your MA.

Mine was about a week and a half, I think, until it went from On Order to Production.

Then about a week in Production.

4 or 5 days Awaiting Transport

About 10 days to cross the pond.

At the Distribution Center now. Scheduled to arrive at dealer (Cincinnati) tomorrow.

Excitement Level: Very High

the lounge is slow in updating the info. it is better to call 866.ask.mini. they have better info. i just picked up my mini this morning and as of now the status is still at distribution center. moreover, when my car was at sea, the status was paint shop. love the mini...just as i have imagined and more...
