I am very excited but it is going to be a long wait. Ordered our MCS fully loaded except for the Navigation system. Delivery should be in Mar 04. My wife and I can't decide between Electric Blue with white top and white stripes or Indi Blue w/ white top and white stripes. We have about 2 weeks to sumbit our final specs on the car. If you guys have some good pictures of the two different color combos please post them...

both of those color combos are awsome, I think they both look great, and I dont know what I would do in that case. One of the things that u might want to think about is if you want a MCS only color or a color that can be on either car. I have a color that can be on either car (chili red) and I am very happy. good luck

I love Electric Blue and wish it had been available on the MC when I ordered mine.
On one of my rare trips to the 200 mile distant dealer I got a chance to see Electric Blue closeup and it is beautiful. :smile:

I like with Indi with white roof/mirrors. I think EB looks better with black roof/mirrors. Here they are both with white.

 

I love the Pepper white, I would sell my DS to replace with a PW if and only if it was available in red leather interior. :smile:

Easy Choice:

Pick your favorite color combo and reverse it to the exact opposite -
(your Wife's pick). Then place the order. Keep your color scheme in
mind for a future MINI order for you.

 

Personally I like the darker blue for a man and the lighter for a woman.

Look at both at a dealership if possible side by side.

Chili Red looks absolutely stunning when freshly washed and waxed. CR is a fast color. Save the extra $400 for the Metallic paint and put that money to work elsewhere!

 

As you can see from my sig, I went for Indi Blue with White myself. I think the contrast of the white looks especially good with a darker color, and the Indi Blue is a really rich, deep shade. You won't get the same contrast with Electric Blue. Ergo, I vote for Indi Blue!

 

Just went out for a car rally in the race yesterday and of the two MINIs, one EB/W and the other IB/W, The EB held up well in the dirt and rain with minimal effect seen while the IB was filty esp on the boot and sides which contrast with the deeper blue color. If fact out of seven cars the IB/W was covered in dirt/water spots by halfway through the event-the others looked pretty good (2 reds, 2 silvers, one burgundy).

On a sunny clear day, the IB/W is great- it's my MINI. Both are good choices.
