I'd love to see the mini in the WRC, it would probably be a while before that happens.

 

I am pretty sure the issues for the mini being involved in WRC is not just the lack of 14" or not having a 4wd car.
Mini will came back to the WRC but in the F2, that is were minis make history, remember Pgts, renault, Citroen and other cars compete there too and with the introduction of mii in that category I will believe it will back to the News.

i'm not sure if I remember this correctly, but isn't there a WRC rule that the model a company uses has to have sold a certain number before being entered?

oh yea.. any socal people plan on heading up to rim of the world rally? I know there was at least one mini in scca pro rally last year

I'm also not sure how much room could be freed up in the Mini's engine compartment. I can picture some nice 14" extensions on the Mini :smile:
Also not sure how the wheel/well clearances would bode...

I would be interested in seeing COOPERation take a whack at adding some nice looking 14" extensions to create a MINI WRC. :smile:
