Just ordered MCS, Indie Blue with the Union Jack roof decal. The question is, white bonnet stripes with the roof decal, or no stripes? I have the sports package, so the stripes are free, just not sure if they'll look silly with the roof.

Thoughts?

Go ahead and let them deliver the car with them and if you think it is too much, they are just vinyl stickers and will peel right off.

They can be peeled off without trashing the paint? Is that also true for the roof graphic?

Seems that they'd be a bit frail, and likely to get trashed through normal driving/washing.

You would be amazed how easy they CAN come off with the proper care. This is not as easy once they get baked on by the sun, but some decals (my dealer installed checkerboard) are coming off from washing her too much. I reccomend you get the Cooper Flags Union Jack.

It wont hurt the paint at all to peel off the bonnet stripes, although it will be easier if you do it sooner than later.

I have heard that with heat any decal or sticker will peal up if you get it started and pull on it. I agree that I like the look of the bonnet stripes or any stripe ! It accents the hood! I do know of a guy who didn't like the stripes after he got the car, took a hair dryer to them, to heat them up and then pulled them off, clean and nice.

I have the stripes and Union Jack and they look fantastic. If years from now the roof decal shows some wear, I'll replace it with a new one.

I picked up my MCS, Mr Bridger, on Tuesday, see him at :

Thanks, that looks like the way to go. I guess I'll cancel the white bonnet stripes and the mini accessories UJ roof decal and go with the full roof and boot/bonnet package from these guys.
