i was excited briefly when i went to miniusa and saw that the drop down said i could build a 2003 mini. alas the options are still 2002-esque. i wanted to see new colors for exterior and interior. i guess technology has to play catch up.

I got the mini configurator (300MB download!!!) from some link off of mini2. I REALLY wanted to see the new anthracite interior which I found using the configurator looks like this:

Therewas also a new exterior color called "Schwartz":

schwartz? a cross between something and quartz? weird. was that the schwartz color in that big picture you sent? looks like black. blartz?

anyhow thanks 10e+6 for the anthracite interior pic. i still want to be able to use the build dealy on miniusa.com to build a 2003 but i am glad to see it in a picture. i gotta get the full effect with the cobalt blue leather seats.

hmmm...gold with a black roof? that would be interesting. black gold...texas tea.

Schwartz is german for black. Maybe something was untranslated?

Gold with a black roof would look pretty cool I think.

I'm getting as close to that as I can with a Liquid Yellow/Black roof MCS.

So they take away one of the two greens, and we get a THIRD black and a THIRD blue? I don't get it. I thought the silk green was the best looking color there was, and I would have ordered it if it wasn't unavailable on the 2003s (and also because I'm too cheap to pay the $400 for the metallic paint).
