repetitive chicka chicka chicka rattle
2004 non s 5 speed manual trans
been searching threads all morning and not finding my rattle. I have a chickeda chickeda. In all gears, speed related,,goes away with clutch in no noise at idle. if its a CV why does sit stop when the clutch is in, I think it stops when braking, but im not sure. I hear it less with my head hanging out the window.. so Throw out bearing???.. Wait and see if it gets worse...

Im not sure what that is, but i might hav the same thing or similiar. I have a rattle at idle, something from the outside of the car, goes away when clutch is in, nothing at speed, have you done any modifications?
