Just got a letter from MINI USA extending the emissions warranty(O2 sensor) for our MCS to 10 years/100k miles.

 

how about the CVT?

 

I got that one too. Sure would be nice if they'd do the Hyundai thing, and cover everything for 10/100,000.

 

What are symptoms for a bad Oxygen sensor?

Will they pay us back if we already replaced it?

 

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Had my sensor replaced about 2 months ago.

 

Also got the letter for oxygen sensor....

 

I went to the dealer and they said bring the car in so they can verify the sensor was put into the car and they will give me my money back. I bought the sensor in July. I made an appointment for next week. I will post then and let you know how it went.

I got this letter about a week ago. I'm assuming my O2 sensor warranty is void since I have a aftermarket header and cat in my car now even though my SES light is on due to that fact. Right?

 

Where's my letter? Is this specific to certain years?

 

Yeah, off hand without looking at my letter, I think its 2004-2006 MINI's.

 

I'm going to call my dealer as well. I'll report back later.
