Anyone here have a scissors jack or hoist in their garage? Might be wrong place to post but I could sure use one and wondered if anyone had suggestions/experience.

Buy one for my Mini Coopers and would like to hear if anyone has one and how they like it, how much it cost and what they can do maintenance/repair wise with that size of lift. I had one for my motorcycle and loved it but since have sold all motorcycles and hoist too.

 

I have a drive on 4 post lift in my garage that I store my Corvette on. It's powered by 120 volt. I likie the four post model because it doesn't require a big metal base plate or thick concrete base. Being that I use it for storage, it's not used very much but it has always worked great. My lift is 6 years old. It is american made. Watch for newer models being made in Mexico. My lift cost $2300.00 delivered from Texas. It was delivered in a semi truck as one pc that weighed 1500 lbs. So you will need a fork lift or a bunch of your buddies to unload.
