My 2005 MC, what do you think

Just got this thing with 32k miles on it for 13g. pretty good deal right.

Thats the first thing ive done. I replaced the normal chrome handles for the checkerboard. And im planning on putting on the fog lights next weekend but the wiring is a little tricky. I am also planning on tinting the windows, checkerboard mirrors, and getting the rims painted black.

oh and tinting those stupid looking orange things on the side.

Any other suggestions?
or help with the wiring on the grille fog lights

and yes. those are checkerboard valve caps on the tires

Looks sweet but I'd leave the rims alone and add boot and bonnet white stripes to complete the package

yeah I agree-- keep the wheels white, I think it looks really good in red and white and it compliments the roof color. very clean!!

Great looking MINI.
I especially like your interior... one of the best, imo.

I'd second keeping the wheels white.................IMO it looks much better than black wheels would.

A good deal on a great looking MINI.

Since you have a white roof, keep the white wheels. If you go with bonnet stripes, then make them white, but another possibility would be to get checkered bonnet stripes to match the door handles. Then for the interior, because you have those red seats, then it's time to splash some red color inside. Just my 2 cents.

if you're concerned about your image, the entire MINI sends much stronger message than its wheels alone

Image is important, more so when you're at 16 than 15 or 17. Trust me.

There is nothing about good taste to be worried about with white wheels. Believe me, you will attract more chicks that think your car is cute with white wheels than black ones.......trust me!

excuse me, i'm also a male teenage driver with a MINI.

i don't see anything wrong with it. a few stomps on the gas pedal and people stop running their mouths about all the stupid pre-concieved ideas they have about my car. they insist that i get darker tint, and rag on me for not having a manual transmission, but the whole "i drive a mini cooper" thing is no longer a cause for jokes from other people.

Honestly, you picked the wrong car for high school. lol I've always been a fan of the Mini and when I was in High School (17) I was able to get enough money together to convince my dad to sign for a Mini. My dad said I didn't need the power of the MCS, so I ended up with an R50. I loved that car, but I put a ton of money into trying to make it faster. (Exhaust,Intake,Chip, Weight Delete, Ect.) I murdered it out the best I could. (PowderCoated Rims, Blacked out tails, MCS bumpers, slammed it on coils, Ect.) No matter what I did I still got a bunch of negative comments about the car at school. As for the girls, a handful liked it. I guess the point I'm trying to make is: As long as you like the car thats all that matters! Don't try to mod it to make it appeal to others, mod it so you can enjoy it more.

an AFE Cold Air Intake is 150 bucks and it makes your car sound mean. That would be a first if you want to shut some HS jocks up. Then go with a Megan Exhaust. One of the best for an R50 and the cheapest cat back exhaust out there. When you pull into that parking lot, you will turn heads. There are sites where you can get them for 335 shipped (im waiting for mine as we speak). And go to Aestheticreations.net and get you some stripes brotha. You can always look faster with stripes (OR A-Panel ART!!!!...im biased)

I was you in high school. but i didnt have my mini yet. lol. Join the Drumline. Nothing is cooler than the captain of the drumline. Crap i am getting nostalgic. sorry for hijacking the thread...

Go with the Magnaflow Exhaust. I did that with a set of headers. Sounded insanely loud.

Looked through your gallery, and Jtrem, we almost have identical minis. I mean BRG, A-panel art, black out tailights, S spoiler, (I am looking for S bumpers). Wow. rock on man

We Just have good tastes!

My poor mini has been gone for awhile now. I wish I would have known you were looking for S bumpers. I parted out my mini before I traded it in. I would have just swapped with you.
