if you're near the Madison area, Goodyear Integrity tires:
Tirerack doesn't rate 'em well, but skinny & decent tread trumps expensive & wide in the pow-pow.

They'll have to make the studs automatically retract under braking to save the stopping distances, but a brilliant idea.

It's great that you'd go through the effort of spotting something a Mini owner might benefit from, and your efforts and the time and concern you took to post the alert is certainly appreciated! My use of "sorry" was in reference to pointing out a negative feature on the tires, and not really wanting to rain on your great enthusiasm and efforts. I also don't believe I made any reference, positive or negative, to anyone's capabilities in the area of financial analytics...

but now that you've called me "snarky" (snarky? Cmon now!)

My brother had tires that looked a lot like that on his jeep liberty. They were horrid...
